The SDS-IDD — India's validated Self-Determination Scale
SSARGH is home to the Self-Determination Scale for Individuals with IDD (SDS-IDD) — the first culturally validated Indian tool measuring self-determination and self-advocacy in adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities. Developed and published through doctoral research (Cronbach's α = 0.86, validated with 100 adults, ISBN 978-93-48204-03-5). Free to take online in English & हिन्दी, with an instant 12-area report.

WSNA — India's support-need assessment for IDD
SSARGH's research family is growing. After SDS-IDD, Manovikas has developed the WSNA — Weighted Support Need Assessment: our own framework that measures how much help a person needs across 9 areas of life — not what is "wrong" with them. WSNA now runs our OPD every day, turning one assessment into one plan that families, teachers and therapists all share. Manuals are free in English & हिन्दी; a structured research programme continues, on the same open path SDS-IDD followed.
WSNA looks at how much help a person needs. Less help needed = progress. The guide is free, in Hindi and English. 🌟
