For colleges & universities
Equal Opportunity Cell compliance, evidenced and audit-ready.
Every higher education institution in India is required to provide reasonable accommodation to students with disabilities and to maintain a functioning Equal Opportunity Cell. Most institutions have the intent. Few have the documentation, the trained faculty or the accessibility record to demonstrate it under scrutiny. Think College @ MIHE closes that gap.
The law says colleges must help students with disabilities.
Most colleges do not know how.
We visit. We tell you what to fix. We train your teachers.

What your institution is required to show
Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
Non-discrimination, accessibility of premises and services, and reasonable accommodation for students with disabilities.
UGC Accessibility Guidelines
Accessibility across curriculum, teaching-learning, resources, assessment and infrastructure.
UGC regulations — Equal Opportunity Cells
A constituted, functioning Equal Opportunity Cell with a named nodal officer.
AICTE guidelines
Assistive technology, adaptive equipment and support services in technical institutions.
NEP 2020
Equitable and inclusive higher education as a stated national objective.
NAAC assessment
Documented evidence of inclusive practice, accessibility provision and institutional values.
Compliance is not a policy document. It is a record: an accessibility audit, a written accommodation protocol, a trained faculty, and a register of accommodations actually granted. We help institutions build that record.
Free campus accessibility walk-through
Three hours on your campus. A written four-page gap note within one week, benchmarked against the UGC Accessibility Guidelines, with findings ranked by priority and by cost — drafted so it can be attached directly to an IQAC file.
What we assess
- Physical access — entrances, ramps, gradients, handrails, lifts, restrooms, parking, signage
- Environmental access — sensory load, quiet spaces, wayfinding, lighting, acoustics
- Digital access — website, LMS, examination portals, alternative formats
- Equal Opportunity Cell — constitution, nodal officer, records, accommodation protocol
- Examination practice — how accommodations are requested, approved and recorded
- Faculty readiness — awareness of intellectual and developmental disability specifically
We conduct a limited number of these each year. Institutions preparing for a NAAC cycle are prioritised.

Faculty sensitisation programme
A 90-minute session for teaching and administrative staff covering intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disability: what faculty will encounter, what the law requires, and what to do in a classroom and an examination hall. Delivered on campus or online. Participants complete a short assessment and receive a certificate.
We run one open session online each month at no cost. Institutions may also commission a closed session for their own staff.
We teach your staff about disability.
It takes 90 minutes.
