Think College @ MIHE
College should not end at school. Think College @ MIHE helps young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities find the right course and the right campus, get admitted, and actually finish — and helps colleges and universities build the systems that make that possible.
School is not the end.
You can go to college.
We help you find the right college.
We stay with you until you finish. 🌟

Universities include Delhi University, GGSIPU, IGNOU and Ambedkar University. The college figure is a navigation directory we maintain for families, not a list of formal partners. See how we count →
Who are you here for?
Find the right college. Finish the degree.
We assess, counsel, place and then stay with the student until graduation. You leave your first appointment with a written College Fit Report — which colleges, which course, which accommodations, which documents.
We meet you and your child.
We find a good college.
We give you a report to keep.
There is no cost to families for our guidance.
Student services →Equal Opportunity Cell compliance, evidenced.
Campus accessibility audits, Equal Opportunity Cell establishment, faculty sensitisation and reasonable-accommodation protocols — aligned to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, UGC accessibility guidelines and NAAC assessment.
We visit your college.
We tell you what to fix.
We train your teachers.
The first campus walk-through is free.
Institutional services →Every Indian college must. Almost none can.
Under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, every higher education institution in India is required to provide reasonable accommodation and to maintain a functioning Equal Opportunity Cell. UGC accessibility guidelines set the standard; NAAC assessment asks for the evidence. Very few institutions have the training, the protocols or the record to demonstrate any of it — least of all for intellectual and developmental disability, where the accommodations are least understood.
The law says every college must help students with disabilities.
Most colleges do not know how.
We show them how.
Higher education access
Supported routes into college-level learning for people with IDD.
Reasonable accommodation
What the law entitles a student to, drafted and negotiated with the institution.
Institutional capacity
Equal Opportunity Cells that function, not cells that exist on paper.
Transition and beyond
From school to campus, and from campus to work.

Souham did it.
Souham Deb completed his senior secondary education at Manovikas School for Inclusion under NIOS, went on to IGNOU, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2024. He is a singer, an active member of Manbhavan Mitra Mandali, and wants to contribute to policy-making for a more inclusive India.
Souham finished school at Manovikas.
Then he studied at IGNOU.
In 2024 he got his degree. 🌟
Unlocking Potential
A Comprehensive Guide to Inclusive Higher Education for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Published by Manovikas Charitable Society, 2024. Written for administrators, faculty, Equal Opportunity Cells and disability support offices — covering reasonable accommodation under the RPD Act 2016 and the UNCRPD, accessible infrastructure and universal design, governance and monitoring, transition support, inclusive teaching, and accessible assessment.
We wrote a free book for colleges. It tells them how to help students with IDD.
